Role

Our Digital, Data and Technology department is driving transformation at TPR to deliver positive outcome for savers across the UK.

We’re looking for an iTrent Lead Specialist to support and advise the HR and Payroll teams in a technical capacity in the use and development of our people system, iTrent.

You will:

  • advise and guide the HR and Payroll business teams on system functionality, queries and access, primarily working with the senior leaders, super users, technology, HR and payroll teams
  • be on hand to support the Payroll function by providing expert systems knowledge and guidance and by troubleshooting functional processes and system issues
  • work alongside the business to identify, raise, track and remedy requests relating to iTrent system errors, issues and bugs in partnership with the supplier MHR, as well as provide general system changes and maintenance
  • collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop and enhance reports to enable the enhancement of existing dashboards and development of new dashboards
  • work with Payroll to design and implement processes to ensure data on iTrent is accurate and complies with data protection and good data security practice
  • ensure that employee data is robustly secure and adequate data protection controls and security are in place with our suite of HR systems

Responsibilities

As our iTrent Lead Specialist, you will:

  • actively participate in testing of all upgrades/patches/workarounds and solutions
  • attend regular meetings with the iTrent account manager to raise any systems related issues and to understand new system functionality
  • act as a point of contact with iTrent escalating matters to the attention of HR when appropriate
  • be involved with HR system development and improvement
  • identify and support the design and implementation of new functionality and processes within iTrent to maximise efficiencies and reduce manual process and duplication of effort
  • ensure that user acceptance testing is conducted in a timely manner
  • support a wide range of internal and external stakeholders in order to maximise the effective and efficient use of iTrent
  • provide iTrent training and support for the whole organisation
  • develop operating procedures, training material, specification and other system documentation and deliver systems-based training
  • recognise the importance of data quality, identifying and escalating to HR any areas of concern and manage data integrity
  • proactively identify gaps in HR management information, and recommend and design new reports using business objects

Essential and desirable criteria

Essential

  • Demonstratable experience of MHR upgrade and system patching including analysing of impact analysis documentation.
  • Previous experience in handling authorisations and redirections within iTrent environment and managing task list administration.
  • Experience of effectively managing iTrent housekeeping requirements for system performance and maintenance.
  • Experiencing managing the different iTrent development, test and live environments.
  • Experience of process mapping across functions, roles and system activities such as helpdesk triaging and service level agreements.
  • Experience of HR, Payroll, Security, Self Service, People Manager, Recruitment and Onboarding modules implementation and build including functionality and how these interact.
  • Experience in Element building, constructing ‘Best Practices’ against roles and responsibilities.
  • Experience in all current build including workflows, batch jobs, schemes, correspondence templates and ESS questionnaires.

Desirable

  • Any previous experience of Sage 200 is desirable.
