Role
Our Digital, Data and Technology department is driving transformation at TPR to deliver positive outcome for savers across the UK. We are looking for a Microsoft 365 Specialist to come on board in this technical role to champion Microsoft 365-based modern collaboration solutions embracing new functionalities and to improve our ways of working with new technologies and tools at hand.
You will play an important role in designing and updating Microsoft SharePoint sites and M365 based solutions, as well as producing high-quality documentation, training and user guides for the wider business. You will also provide expertise and guidance in the configuration, and optimisation of Microsoft products across our organisation to manage and govern our data assets effectively.
We are committed to support you with your growth and development by providing training through Microsoft Enterprise Skills Initiative, Pluralsight and Udemy, keeping you up to date with the latest technologies.
Responsibilities
You will:
- Champion Microsoft 365-based modern collaboration solutions embracing new functionality.
- Analyse, estimate and prioritise work items to achieve the best outcome.
- Work individually to investigate, prioritise and solve problems in production systems.
- Design and deliver SharePoint site solutions, by choosing appropriate design principles and techniques to use within the technical framework defined by the architecture team.
- Manage and control problems and change within area of responsibility, including negotiation with other teams as necessary.
- Engage with business users to gather information regarding systems incidents and requirements for change.
- Overseeing the delivery of cloud solutions, in line with business objectives.
- Increase user adoption through your positive action.
- Act as a specialist to support the Microsoft 365 Suite (Office apps.), particularly SharePoint administration and related Microsoft Product Applications available in the Azure platform.
- Liaise with internal customers to ensure that business requirements of the application are fulfilled.
- Collaborate with other teams to develop system integrations, data migration and automated testing.
Essential criteria
- Working knowledge of existing and emerging Microsoft 365 core technologies in particular SharePoint administration.
- Ability to design and update Microsoft 365 solutions and technical roadmaps, including producing high-quality documentation and user guides for the wider business.
- Microsoft 365 Certification Fundamentals (MS-900), with demonstrable experience delivering Microsoft 365 solutions in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of MS product-based solutions.
